The Green Natolin:
A PERFECT FIT WITH ITS SURROUNDINGS

In this case, the project owner’s ambition was to create a modern, intimate residential building promoting eco-friendly solutions and a new city lifestyle. Responding to this challenge, we designed an eleven-storey building with slender proportions, a calm rhythm of the elevation and harmoniously chosen materials – plaster and bonding bricks patterns alluding to the pre-war architecture of Warsaw modernism. For some future residents who decide to give up their own car and use the nearby metro station instead, we have designed a park suitable for car-sharing vehicles. The modest area of the plot prompted us to develop the roof over the lower part of the building as a public green terrace with a pergola and benches. The building also features a bicycle room promoting healthy lifestyles and a bicycle self-repair station.

A NEW URBAN PHILOSOPHY
