Gardenia Langom:

The cosy housing estate on Warsaw’s Głębocka Street was designed as a follow-up to the existing urban layout with a residential and commercial function. The design aimed to complete the existing street frontage and create communal courtyards for residents as a place of rest and recreation.

Designed to complement the current urban layout

With the south-facing courtyards and the tall greenery there, we tried to create scenic axes in that direction, framing the building’s tectonics accordingly. The simple and regular facades of the buildings provide the perfect backdrop for the designed vegetation of the courtyards, rich in a variety of trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials.
